Song Xihui
Nursing Director

Song Xihui obtained her Master’s degree from National Changhua University of Education and Bachelor’s degree from Chung Shan Medical University. She has 19 years of experience in rehabilitation nursing and nursing administration. Additionally, she has worked at Yunnan Qujing First People’s Hospital and Qujing Rehabilitation Hospital in rehabilitation nursing education and as an administrative consultant. As the Nursing Director at Kunming LIH SkyCity Rehabilitation Hospital, she is responsible for clinical rehabilitation skills and quality management, nursing administrative management, and training for rehabilitation nurses. Pan Xue, BSc in Rehabilitation
Occupational Therapist 

Pan Xue obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation from Kunming Medical University and has since obtained advanced rehabilitation training. Ms. Pan has obtained a qualification certificate as a junior therapist. She has worked at the People’s Hospital of Baoan in Shenzhen. Ms. Pan’s occupational therapy practice has included providing cognitive remediation for individuals recovering from neurological conditions (both adults and children). Language: Chinese, English
Wang Qiuyun, Master’s Degree
Occupational Therapist 

Wang Qiuyun obtained her Master’s degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Bachelor’s degree from Kunming Medical University. She has expertise in the areas of neurological, orthopedic, and pediatric occupational therapy She has previously worked in the Rehabilitation Department at Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University. Additionally, she was a member of the post-disaster rehabilitation team providing evaluation of disabled people in communities affected by the Sichuan Earthquake, as well as advice for rehabilitation training, assistive devices, and environment modifications. Through the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Rehabilitation Sciences Department and Sichuan Yang Kang Rehabilitation Resource Center (an NGO based in Chengdu) she supervised a group of therapy student working with the Disabled Persons Federation (DPF) to screen more than 1000 people with disabilities living in villages and towns of the mountainous Jiajiang County. Wu HungYi
Occupational Therapist 

Wu Hung Yi originates from Taiwan and began his professional career as an occupational therapist in 2012, graduating from the Department of Occupational Therapy of I-Shou University. Since then, he has practiced at Cheng-Ching Hospital and Jing-Der Nursing Home, where he organized an ADL and IADL Group for seniors which included activities to enable residents to participate in personal care and community outings to department stores and museums. As a research assistant, he helped to design and implement several programs for seniors, such as fall prevention. Wu Hung Yi has also been an occupational therapy clinical instructor. He is certified in horticultural therapy and has expertise in neurological rehabilitation, orthopedics, splinting, and community-based rehabilitation for adults. Jing Yang obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation from Kunming Medical University and has since obtained advanced rehabilitation training at the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals of Kunming Medical University and Yunnan Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Center Jing Yang’s training and experience includes the hand function of patients with stroke rehabilitation, and upper limb functional recovery after spinal cord injury, daily life skills training, environmental assessment, as well as hand orthotics. Chunjing Yuan
Occupational Therapist 

Chunjing Yuan began her professional career in 2014, graduating from KunMing Medical University in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences. Since then, she has practiced at Richland Hospital, where she provides occupational therapy services for stroke, brain injury, hand trauma, and spinal cord injury patients. She has engaged in advanced studies in neurological, orthopedic, and hand injury rehabilitation for adult at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, where she provided clinical teaching for interns. Through LIH Healthcare she has received training and experience in treating children with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, cerebral palsy, sensory challenges, and fine motor delays. She is also experienced in working in a multidisciplinary team in a multicultural environment. Xia Xiaoling, MD
Vice Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Xia has nearly 40 years of experience in pediatric clinical, teaching, and research work, with main research directions in child growth & development and respiratory and nervous system diseases. Her most recent positions include Pediatrics Professor and Chief Physician and Vice-President of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University. Dr. Xia has published over 40 research articles and serves as Editor-in-Chief and Directors of various provincial and national steering committees, research centers, and national textbooks. Raymond C Tervo, MD
LIH Healthcare Chief Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician

Dr. Raymond Tervo earned a BS with Distinction form the University of Toronto and his MD from McMaster University (Canada). In addition, he holds a certificate in Bioethics. He is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a Senior Associate Consultant at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (US), Dr. Tervo taught and provided care to children and their families through Mayo’s Neurodevelopmental Clinic. He has served as a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota and was previously the Director of Pediatrics at Gillette Children’s Specialized Healthca (Minnesota, US). Dr. Tervo has a strong research background and over the last four decades has focused primarily on neurodevelopmental assessment, genetic testing in global developmental delay, self-injurious behavior in children, coping strategies for families with a child with a disability, and questions of neuroethics encountered in caring for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. His work has made significant contributions in each of these areas, contributing to improved care for children and their families. Language: English

Liliane Akiki
Physical Therapist & Deputy Therapy Department Director

Liliane is a registered Physical Therapist, certified instructor, and PT trainer with more than 20 years of experience in both clinical practice and teaching skills. In addition to a Masters in Manual Therapy (US), she is certified in various accredited physical therapy methods (e.g., Mulligan, McKenzie, OM Cyriax). She has been as speaker at international conferences and seminars in more than 11 countries, presenting on posture and spinal deformities adjustment in children & adults, well-being, and pain management. Academically, she has taught entry level programs in pediatrics, women’s health, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions and mentored students at UA- Antonine University in Lebanon. She has conducted PT certified courses in Medical Taping Concept (MTC), posture adjustment in children & adults (TheraTogs), spinal deformities scoliosis in the Middle East & Northern Africa. She has provided leadership and management for private rehabilitation centers, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development training programs. Liliane has organized awareness workshops on posture education and back pain management in schools and institutions, and in parallel, designed corporate seminars for the prevention and management of work-related disorders. She has helped organize public events in the middle east and Northern Africa for World PT Day and has given wellness workshops with UNICEF, UNHCR and NGO refugee care programs, in addition to a variety of other contributions to community and medical service programs. Han Tao graduated from Kunming Medical University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Medicine, specializing in physical therapy. He furthered his study at No.1 Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University, No. 2 Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University, and Yunnan Provincial Rehabilitation Center of the Disabled. He has additional training in interdisciplinary rehabilitation. LI Haiqing graduated from Kunming Medical University with a bachelor’s degree of science in Rehabilitation Medicine. She has previously practiced at the Rehabilitation Department of No.2 Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University. She has treated patients with patella fracture, femoral fracture, fracture of tibial plateau, rupture of achilles tendon, and on patients after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction to improve their function. LI Yanjiao graduated from Kunming Medical University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Medicine, specializing in physical therapy. She furthered her study at the Neurological Rehabilitation and Pediatric Rehabilitation Departments of the No.2 Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University. She received standardized international training and is registered as an assessment assistant for the Griffiths Development Scales (GDS).; She also received a certificate for the International CP Management Workshop (MCCP-MOOC). Mateusz Michal Pulsecki, MPT
Physical Therapist

Mateusz Puslecki obtained his Master’s of Physical Therapy from Wroclaw Physical Therapy University in Poland. He has significant clinical experience in both medical center and rehabilitation hospital settings in Poland. He has worked with adults suffering from a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic impairments such as achilles tendinopathy, ankle sprains, shoulder dislocations, meniscal tears, as well as neck and back pain. Mateusz has a strong interest in sport related injuries and particularly enjoys treating and diagnosing complex knee and shoulder injuries. He treats his patients by implementing a variety of methods including Manual Therapy Kaltenborn-Evjenth Concept, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Kinesio Taping, Functional Training, and detecting potential biomechanical dysfunction. Wang Yu obtained her Bachelor of Medicine degree from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She worked at the Chengdu Office of MSI, a Hong Kong-based charity organization, for about seven years, providing post-earthquake reconstruction services in Sichuan and accumulating significant experience in traumatic orthopedics rehabilitation, nerve injury rehabilitation, chronic strain rehabilitation, community rehabilitation, and other health education related fields. Yin Kunhui, BSc Rehabilitation

Yin Kunhui graduated from Kunming Medical University. With more than six years of rehabilitation treatment experience, she is an expert in orthopedic rehabilitation and post-natal rehabilitation. She participated in Kunming Medical University clinical teaching program as a teacher, helped to organize the 1st National Rehabilitation Treatment Skills Competition for On-campus Students, and has routinely participated in continuing education programs. Zhang Gaineng graduated from Kunming Medical University in Rehabilitation Medicine, completing a year of clinical practice specialized in physical therapy. He has worked in the Rehabilitation Department of the Transportation Hospital of Yunnan Province and the Sport Medicine Department of Yunnan Sport Injury Hospital. He has additional training in SET technology, PNF technology, and biomechanics of the knee and has rich experience in rehabilitative treatment for stroke, cerebral trauma, spinal cord injury, sport injury, and soft tissue chronic pain. Zhang Lingmin obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation from Kunming Medical University. With more than six years of experience in rehabilitation, orthopedics, and related fields, she is familiar with common orthopedic diseases and fracture treatment. She has been responsible for teaching programs for cardiopulmonary physical therapy courses in the Rehabilitation program at Kunming Medical University. In addition, she has participated in the three-year “Cooperative Project to Improve Medical Service for the Aging Population at Yun, China”. She has also participated in preparation for JCI accreditation at a general hospital. Lu Yi obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Kunming Medical University. With about 20 years of clinical experience in orthopedics rehabilitation, pain management, and chronic disease management, she is currently a Standing Committee Member of the Yunnan Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and Director of the Rehabilitation Department at Yunnan Richland Hospital. Under her leadership, her department was successfully JCI accredited. In addition, she led a team that provided early rehabilitation services for the wounded in the Yunnan Ludian earthquake in 2014.
